People search for the best BECE app in Ghana and the best WASSCE study app. There is no single winner. The right app is the one that matches the exam you sit and the kind of work you need to do.
GLearn is one of the apps on this page, and Glearn Technologies writes this guide. The other cards are taken from each product's own public pages. If a page did not say something, we do not say it either.
How to read this page
The order is not a ranking. GLearn is first because this is our site, and the card says so. The rest follow the exam they cover.
SyllabusGH, Objees and EduMate each publish a study product for both the BECE and the WASSCE, with a live site we could read. Each of those three has a comparison page. Ultimate Passco also covers both exams, as a past question app. Sronu and ClassMaster describe the BECE.
We do not state a price, because prices change, and we do not copy star ratings from a store. A free sample is not the same thing as a free app.
Exams. BECE and WASSCE
What it does
Exam prep for Ghanaian BECE and WASSCE students. You practise exam style questions by subject, including past questions. A written answer is marked against the mark scheme, with feedback on what a full mark answer needs. Kevin and Anna are the AI coaches. Progress is tracked by subject once you have an account. It runs in the phone browser, with no download.
Who it suits
A student who wants to practise, have written work marked, and be coached, without paying and without installing an app.
An honest note
This is our product. GLearn is free for students. It is exam practice, marking and coaching. It is not a video library of the whole curriculum from kindergarten up. We do not claim it is the only app worth using.

Exams. BECE and WASSCE, plus the wider school curriculum
What it does
A Ghana learning platform. Their site describes curriculum notes, video lessons, past questions with solutions, quizzes, and an AI tutor that can take a typed question or a photo. It is for students and for teachers preparing lessons.
Who it suits
A student who wants notes, video lessons and past questions together, or a teacher preparing lessons. Their pages cover kindergarten through senior high, not only the exam year.
An honest note
Their site says the core app is free, and that a premium plan adds further tools such as video lessons and fuller offline downloads. The free list and the paid list on their own pages do not match line for line, so this guide does not pin a feature to a price. We do not state one.

Exams. BECE and WASSCE
What it does
Timed multiple choice practice. You sit a past paper or one of their mock papers against a clock, then see the score and the correct answers. Their site says explanations come with a paid pass. Word Builder, a spelling game for key terms, is described as free.
Who it suits
A student who wants to practise the objectives paper under a clock, in a phone browser, with nothing to install.
An honest note
It is multiple choice. Their pages do not describe marking a long written answer. A free sample comes first, then a paid pass for the full set. This guide does not state the price. Objees says it is independent of WAEC.

Exams. BECE and WASSCE, and classes below them
What it does
An AI tutor for Ghanaian classes. Their site describes past questions with worked answers, quizzes, games, voice lessons and study plans a parent can approve. For SHS they list essay feedback.
Who it suits
A student who wants to ask a tutor in their own words, or a parent who wants a study plan and a view of progress.
An honest note
Their site says free tokens each day, and that tokens pay for AI questions, voice and study plans. More tokens are paid for with mobile money. GLearn does not use tokens. The store app also describes teacher tools and curricula outside Ghana. Essay feedback is their description. We do not claim it follows a WAEC mark scheme.

Exams. BECE, for JHS
What it does
A study app for JHS students in Ghana. Their site describes practice for the BECE and for school exams, with explanations, and they publish BECE past questions. Their site offers the app for free.
Who it suits
A JHS student revising for class tests and the BECE.
An honest note
Their pages describe JHS and the BECE, not the WASSCE. A WASSCE candidate will not find SHS papers here. They list phone apps and the browser.

Exams. BECE
What it does
BECE preparation. Their site describes past questions, a readiness check, study plans, and practice they say works offline. Subjects they name include Mathematics, English Language, Integrated Science and Social Studies.
Who it suits
A BECE candidate who wants a readiness check and past question practice, including when data is gone.
An honest note
This is the BECE, not the WASSCE. Their site describes a free starter and a paid plan. One part of the site says the paid plan includes essay marking against the BECE rubric, and another part describes different paid extras. We do not pin a feature to a price, and we do not state one.
Their site
Exams. BECE and WASSCE
What it does
A mobile app of WAEC past questions and answers for the BECE and the WASSCE, arranged by year and topic. Their listing includes papers one and two and practicals. Nexvelsoft publishes it.
Who it suits
A student who wants a passco book on a phone, for either exam.
An honest note
It is a library you read and revise from. Their listing does not describe AI coaches, or marking an answer you type. The App Store listing presents the app as free. We do not state a star rating.
